This morning I woke up completely intertwined with her like twigs caught on a vine. Her eyes closed still in a deep slumber. Her chest rising up and down with each breathe she took. It felt so surreal lying here like this with her. A couple years ago this was all just a fantasy in my head. Now it’s a beautiful reality that I would never trade for anything in the world. Honestly I never knew why (y/n) chose me out of all the boys she could’ve had. Boys were putty in her hands she could’ve had any of them wrapped around her finger in a spilt second like she had me. I was nothing special I was just the under dog who had finally got the girl.I remember the day she asked me out vividly as if it had just happened yesterday. That was best day of my being. Knowing that she was mine . That the girl I wanted so desperately actually wanted me was the best feeling. If I could I would freeze that moment in a frame . Id put that day back on replay and just keep reliving it.
Today I was ready . Ready to ask her to spend eternity with me.i had bought the ring that was in my nightstand about a week ago. The thing was I had a problem. I couldn’t just ask because well I wasn’t sure how to honestly. Should I put coffee and granola on a tray in bed , and wake her up with all the words I still haven’t said with tender touches just to show her how I feel. Or should I act cool like its no big deal.I looked back down at (y/n) with a sigh. I brushed my teeth and freshened up a bit before reaching into my night stand and pulling out the ring.I walked over to her side of the bed. I took a seat on the wood floor. I sat there just taking in her beauty in all she is. Her hair was sprawled out all over the pillow. Knees now some what tucked into her chest. Her pouty pink lips they looked so soft and kissable. I had fallen foolishly completely in love with (y/n). She was beautiful I wanted nothing more then of spend the rest of my life with her. I was afraid though. Afraid of rejection. That she may not be ready even though we had been together for 2 years. I didn’t want to just be another boy she had in the plan of her hands though . I wanted to be the one she woke up to every morning happily . I wanted to be the one who was all was by her side through thick and thin. I didn’t want to have to see her get up and leave. Because the tragic truth waning she didn’t feel the same my heart would break If someone ever said (y/n)’s name. She was the one who had kicked in my walls and I was desperately hoping she was here to say. I glanced at her letting out a sigh before getting up from the floor. I crouched down on one knee net her bed side . A delicate kiss was pressed to her nose . She scrunched her nose as a soft smile danced upon her lips. Eyes still closed I opened the small box containing the ring . I held it open as her (y/e/c)s fluttered open slowly. Her eyes widened once she realized what I was holding. I inhaled a deep breathe before speaking.
“(Y/n) , will you marry me.”
I held my breathe watching her waiting for a response. Her eyes shifted between me and the ring. I began to grow nervous. All my worries crowding my mind at once .
“Yes , Johnny yes.” She said tears of joy in her eyes with a wide grin on her face. She perched her self up onto her elbows before sliding the ring on to her thin pale finger. She threw herself into my arms hugging me as if her life depended on it. I wrapped my arms around her Fran hugging her back never wanting I let go. Glad that she would always keep me. In that moment I knew that I was truly , madly , deeply in love with (y/n).
